About Mark Hubert

A Career in Rare Stone

Approaching two decades in natural stone. Mark began in sales at a regional fabrication company, then spent nine years representing Antolini Luigi & C Spa — one of Italy’s most recognized exotic stone houses — across the United States. The work included distributor sales training, continuing education, market development, and direct collaboration with designers, architects, builders, and stone professionals.

During that period, Mark also co-founded Stone Trend, a luxury stone showroom in Seattle. He helped build the business from an empty warehouse, oversaw development of its 26,000-square-foot showroom, and curated its slab inventory.

That experience spans the full chain: quarry and factory relationships, material evaluation, distribution, logistics, fabrication, and project execution. Hubert Stone brings that connected perspective to projects where the stone must be understood as one coordinated scope.

Today

National Advisory Practice

Serving designers, architects, builders, and developers across the United States. Selective by design — 3 to 4 engagements per quarter, each receiving full attention from concept through installation.

Independence

Not tied to any supplier’s inventory. Recommendations driven by what’s right for the project.

Approach

I’m not here to replace your fabricator. I’m here to align the stone scope before cutting begins so nothing gets compromised.

Capacity

Fewer projects, deeper involvement. Three to four engagements per quarter, each with direct attention from Mark.

Serving projects across the United States and internationally. Advisory and procurement are managed remotely with targeted travel for slab evaluation, fabricator alignment, and critical project milestones.

Philosophy
Independence matters. We’re not tied to any supplier’s inventory, any fabricator’s schedule, or any yard’s sales targets. The recommendation is always what’s right for the project.

Fewer projects. Deeper involvement. Every engagement gets full attention because stone procurement doesn’t forgive distraction.

Hubert Stone exists to close the gaps before they become compromises — protecting design intent from the moment a slab is specified to the moment it is installed.
